Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a software engineer in Belgium to design, build, and support AI platform capabilities across the digital commerce ecosystem. You will create production-grade AI-driven services and automation, focusing on turning AI into dependable products and solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong backend experience and hands-on applied AI experience, with proficiency in Python and/or Java and a clear eye for scalable, reliable software design.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Hands-on experience building AI features that connect model APIs to business workflows.
Strong software engineering skills in Python and/or Java, including API development, testing, debugging, and maintainable service design.
Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud services
Exceptional communication skills, able to turn business requirements into technical tasks and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

Create services, workflows, and reusable components for LLM-powered solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand use cases, prototype solutions, measure outcomes, and move capabilities into production.
Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and event-driven workflows in Python or Java with reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
