The ideal candidate should have expertise in C and Python, experience with AI applications, and a hands-on mindset. You will work collaboratively with teams on real-world data and hardware, ensuring impactful integration of AI into our operations.

Job Description

As an AI Engineer, you work at the intersection of embedded software and applied AI. You don’t build experiments, but AI solutions that are effectively used in our products and processes.

You are active in R&D, but your impact extends across the entire organization: from firmware and test setups to operations, sales and marketing. You translate concrete technical and business problems into scalable AI solutions with measurable impact.

What will you do?

You combine problem discovery, development and integration in one role:

• You identify where AI can add the most value and turn this into clear, actionable use cases.
• You develop AI solutions in C (embedded) and Python (tooling, pipelines, agents), fully integrated into existing products and workflows.
• You apply AI across:
  • R&D (firmware testing, data analysis, documentation, on-device intelligence)
  • Operations (automation, quality monitoring)
  • Commercial processes (content support, insights, data enrichment)
• You ensure seamless integration with embedded systems, test setups and CI pipelines.
• You work with real-world data and hardware, continuously improving solutions through structured testing and iteration.
• You turn AI into tangible improvements and make sure teams can effectively use what you build.

Qualifications

• Strong in C (embedded/systems) and Python
• Experience with AI applications in a production environment
• Knowledge of LLMs and AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, ...)
• Experience with embedded workflows (firmware CI, debugging, test setups)
• Understanding of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, BLE)
• Strong software engineering foundation (Git, testing, clean code)
• Hands‑on mindset and pragmatic
• You quickly detect problems and translate them into applicable solutions
• You dare to think out of the box
