KU Leuven's Cardiovascular Imaging & Dynamics Laboratory at MIRC (Gasthuisberg, Belgium) is seeking a post-doctoral researcher to develop AI-driven medical image processing algorithms for automated shear wave elastography workflows.

You will collaborate with engineers, physicists, clinicians and medical scientists, drive MDR-compliant validation, and prepare the technology for large-scale clinical translation.

Qualifications

• PhD in medical image processing with practical AI experience.
• Experience in AI-based analysis and workflow automation.
• Proficiency in Matlab and Python; software development experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and development of AI-driven medical image processing algorithms.
• Automate the shear wave elastography workflow and validate clinically.
