CareerBee is seeking PhD researchers transitioning into industry to join a leading European high-tech group focused on advanced imaging and opto-electronic systems used in research, industrial, and defense applications.

You will work on AI/ML models for image enhancement, object detection, and real-time inference for embedded imaging systems, collaborating across software, hardware, and camera engineering teams to push the boundaries of production-grade algorithms.

Qualifications

• PhD in AI, ML, CV, Image Processing or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands-on experience in computer vision, image processing or imaging AI applications.
• Embedded systems experience is a plus.
• Interest in applied industrial R&D and fast-paced environments.
• Fluent English; other European languages a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop AI/ML models for image enhancement, detection and tracking.
• Build computer vision algorithms for advanced imaging applications.
• Perform denoising, contrast enhancement and feature extraction.
• Develop production-grade, real-time AI inference for embedded imaging systems.
• Optimize models for embedded hardware and real-time constraints.
• Collaborate with software, hardware and camera engineering teams.
• Evaluate and implement state-of-the-art AI approaches in products.
