CareerBee is assisting a fast-growing European high-tech group in imaging to hire AI/Computer Vision Algorithms Engineers. You will join an R&D team focused on real-world AI applications in advanced imaging, including thermal imaging, night vision and machine vision.

The role emphasizes developing production-grade algorithms, real-time AI inference, and collaboration across software, hardware, and camera engineering teams. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• PhD completed or soon-to-be-finished in AI, ML, CV or image processing.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
• Hands-on experience with computer vision or imaging AI applications.

Responsabilités

• Develop AI/ML models for image enhancement, object detection and tracking.
• Create production-grade computer vision algorithms for imaging systems.
• Optimize models for embedded or real-time inference on hardware.
• Collaborate with software, hardware and camera engineering teams.

Are you currently finishing your PhD in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision or Image Processing and looking to move into an industrial high-tech environment?

On behalf of our client, one of Europe's fastest growing and highly innovative international high-tech company - active in the field of advanced imaging and opto-electronic systems used in research, industrial and defense applications - we are looking for multiple AI / Computer Vision Algorithms Engineers to strengthen their R&D team.

This is an opportunity to work on real-world AI applications in advanced imaging systems used in areas such as:

• thermal imaging
• night vision
• machine vision
• embedded imaging systems

You will join a highly innovative R&D environment where AI/ML is becoming a key driver for next-generation imaging technologies.

You will work on:

• AI/ML models for image enhancement and object detection
• Computer vision algorithms for advanced imaging applications including object tracking, image enhancement and intelligent feature extraction
• Denoising, contrast enhancement and feature extraction
• Development of production-grade algorithms
• Real-time AI inference and optimization for embedded imaging systems
• Optimization of models for embedded systems
• Collaboration with software, hardware and camera engineering teams
• Evaluation and implementation of state-of-the‑art AI approaches

Your Profile:

• Recently completed or soon-to-be-finished PhD in AI, Marchine Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing, or similar
• Strong programming skills (Python and/or C++)
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Hands‑on experience with computer vision, image processing or imaging‑related AI applications
• Experience with embedded systems is a plus
• Interest in applied industrial R&D
• Fluent English skills. Other European languages are a plus (e.g. Dutch, French, German)
• Curious, analytical, self‑critical, and hands‑on, pragmatic mindset
• Work on cutting‑edge AI and imaging technology used in advanced industrial, thermal imaging and machine vision applications
