Möbius Business Redesign seeks an AI Architect to translate complex business problems into robust, strategic AI architectures. You will guide architectural decisions, assess build-versus-buy and platform choices, and review engineers’ designs to ensure scalable, reusable solutions.

This role requires deep expertise in LLMs and strong strategic-technical judgment. The position is full-time with hybrid options in Belgium (Ghent or Brussels), offering competitive compensation and opportunities

Job Description

As an AI Architect at Möbius, you will translate complex business problems into robust, strategic AI architectures. You will guide architectural decisions, assess build-versus-buy and platform choices, review engineers’ designs, and ensure solutions are technically sound, scalable, and reusable. The role requires strong expertise in LLM applications and the ability to combine technical judgment with strategic insight while working as a senior technical peer rather than a manager.

Job requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of relevant professional experience.
• Deep experience with LLM applications, including RAG, agents, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering, as well as knowledge of their best practices and limitations.
• Strong knowledge of the Azure AI ecosystem, including Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Functions, and Logic Apps, with the ability to select suitable components or alternatives.
• Ability to analyse business problems and translate them into appropriate AI architectures.
• Experience making and defending architecture, platform, component, build-versus-buy, scalability, and reusability decisions.
• Ability to conduct architecture reviews at design level and challenge engineers constructively on quality, standards, and scalability.
• Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; experience across sectors such as finance, industry, or healthcare is preferred.
• Collaborative, team-oriented attitude and the confidence to express and explain well-founded technical opinions.
• Experience with classical machine learning or computer vision is an advantage but not required.

The position is full-time in Ghent or Brussels with hybrid working options, flexible hours, and the possibility to work from home.
