Space Applications Services NV/SA is seeking an Electronics Laboratory Technician & Quality Control Inspector to join the Product Assurance & Safety Department in Brussels. You will inspect, trace, and verify the quality of electronic hardware from arrival through flight delivery.

The role covers lab support, calibration management, audits, and continuous improvement within a multidisciplinary team. The work location is Sint-Stevens-Woluwe (Brussels Area) with a possible partial home-work

Qualifications

• Background in Product Assurance and Safety or Engineering with a few years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with aerospace quality standards and practices
• Understanding of material handling, traceability, shelf-life control, and incoming inspection workflows
• Knowledge of basic quality tools and methods (NCR handling, corrective actions, traceability, audits)
• Familiarity with 5S, standard work, waste reduction, and workflow optimization
• Strong organizational skills for records, certificates, calibration reports, and inventory databases
• Team player with a solution-oriented mindset and good English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work with ERP tools and laboratory/quality software
• MS Office proficiency for reporting and data tracking

Responsabilités

• Inspect, verify, and control electronic hardware components from arrival to flight delivery
• Maintain and file all records, certificates, and traceability data
• Coordinate calibration activities with external providers and internal stakeholders
• Support NCR and corrective action processes for purchasing and materials
• Assist in internal audits with documentation and process evidence
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the Product Assurance & Safety team
• Help optimize lab workflows and reduce waste
• Design and execute flight hardware packaging
• Maintain calibration database for equipment
• Track inventory levels and storage conditions
