DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to help athletes and shoppers find the right gear and deliver outstanding service on the sales floor. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and share product knowledge to support confident purchase decisions.

You will uphold merchandising standards, participate in promotions, and contribute to a safe, inclusive store environment. This role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and a customer-first approach from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Willingness to support store operations and adhere to policies.

Responsabilités

• Greet teammates and athletes, assess needs, and assist shopping with product knowledge.
• Maintain merchandising standards, floor sets, signage, and price changes.
• Promote loyalty programs, warranties, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs, plus applicable laws.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
• Support team with other tasks as needed.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet everyone (Teammates and Athletes) and proactively approach athletes to understand their needs and support their shopping experience by providing helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
• Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures, as well as to laws and guidelines of external governing entities, including those of the Federal ATF.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (Teammates & Athletes) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store. Performs other tasks as assigned.
