POLITICO is seeking a Digital Campaign Executive / Campaign Operations Executive for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Advertising Operations team supports delivery of POLITICO's advertising campaigns across display, mobile, newsletters, video, podcasts and social media.

You will assist with campaign setup, bookings, QA, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns launch on schedule. English proficiency and a proactive, detail-oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in digital marketing or campaign operations.
• 2- Familiarity with ad-serving platforms is a plus.
• 3- Experience with WordPress CMS is a plus.
• 4- Strong knowledge of digital channels and email marketing best practices.
• 5- Proficiency in Excel and basic HTML/CSS.
• 6- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support the Media Solutions team in the delivery of advertising and marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Assist with campaign setup, bookings, and line items and preparing campaigns for launch.
• Help build email newsletters, messages and assets using the CMS platform.
• Ensure advertising creatives and email assets meet technical specifications, brand guidelines, and quality standards before launch.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) testing on campaign assets, email newsletters, and ad products to ensure accurate delivery.
• Monitor campaign delivery and performance, escalating issues when needed and helping resolve day-to-day execution challenges.
• Respond to internal ticket requests and support the smooth execution of campaigns.
• Maintain and update campaign documentation, processes, benchmarks, and reporting resources.
• Collaborate with Client Solutions, Marketing, Brand Content Studio, Production, Events, and other internal teams to deliver campaigns accurately and on schedule.
• Assist with campaign reporting by gathering performance data and preparing basic reports and insights.
• Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, platform updates, and best practices.
• Support the day-to-day operational needs of the Media Solutions team.

Job Description

POLITICO is seeking a Digital Campaign Executive / Campaign Operations Executive for our pioneering and growing media company on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Advertising Operations team are the experts on the processes and systems that support the delivery of POLITICO's advertising campaigns. We are looking for a team player to understand our digital ad products and ad server tools to support campaign executions and related projects. You will report to senior Ad operational leadership and work alongside peers with similar job roles. Your responsibilities will include managing stakeholders and leading booked campaigns. Additionally, you will support the team by championing and supporting various Ad operations tasks, such as AI, direct/programmatic advertising, Order mgmt tools, task management tools, inventory management, reporting, data and insights, tech and troubleshooting, and utilising various other tools and platforms.

What You’ll Need

• 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, campaign operations, ad operations, email marketing, or a related field (internships or relevant placements are also valued).
• Familiarity with ad-serving platforms is an advantage but not required.
• Experience with CMS Wordpress is a plus.
• Good understanding of digital marketing channels, campaign execution and email marketing best practices is an advantage but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with HTML/CSS for basic troubleshooting or email editing is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Analytical mindset with an interest in campaign performance and optimization.
• Familiarity with project management or ticketing tools such as Asana or Jira is an advantage but not essential.
• Eagerness to learn new marketing technologies and develop technical skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional European languages are a plus.
