GardPass Consulting & Space in Mons, Belgium seeks a security-focused systems administrator responsible for implementing infrastructure security solutions and maintaining a secure posture across on-prem and cloud environments. You will monitor deployed systems and address emerging issues promptly.

The role emphasizes hands-on Linux administration, automation and IaC, and applying security hardening across a hybrid-cloud infrastructure. Start date negotiable; on-site collaboration in Mons.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the principles of computer and communication security, networking, and vulnerabilities of modern operating systems and applications.
• Knowledge of Linux OS, infrastructure as code and automation tools.
• Knowledge of security technologies for hybrid-cloud, SASE and On-Prem DMZ capabilities.
• Experience with Cyber Hygiene and CIS controls for cyber defence.
• Hands-on experience with systems administration.

Responsabilités

• Provide support for project implementation and delivery of infrastructure security solutions; ensure stability and performance post-implementation through monitoring.
• Apply approved security configurations (hardening) and maintain security posture of infrastructure elements.
• Plan, deploy, and configure hardware, software, and security products; remediate CIS findings.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the principles of computer and communication security, networking, and the vulnerabilities of modern operating systems and applications.


• Knowledge of and proven experience with linux OS, infrastructure as code and automation tools


• Knowledge of security technologies and solutions specific to hybrid-cloud, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and OnPremise DMZ capabilities


• Experience with Cyber Hygiene and the Critical Security Controls for effective cyber defence.


• Practical hands-on experience with systems administration.

Duties

• Provide support for project implementation, and delivery of infrastructure security solutions Ensure the stability and performance of deployed systems, services and applications post-implementation, through continuous monitoring and addressing any emerging issues in a timely manner


• Apply approved security configurations (hardening settings), and continuously maintain the security posture of the infrastructure elements Contribute to remediation of CIS security findings for infrastructure elements Plan, deploy, and configure a variety of hardware, software, and security products


• Perform other duties as may be required
