Job summary

Materialise Manufacturing is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to maintain AM printers and supporting equipment in our laser sintering technology. You will perform preventive maintenance, join major bi-yearly and yearly inspections, and collaborate with the maintenance team across printing technologies.

You will use mechanical, electrical tools and various software tools to calibrate and repair equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electro-Mechanics or engineering/STEM discipline or equivalent.
• Maintenance specialization is a bonus.
• Open minded, procedural mindset, disciplined, team player, communicative skills, ownership, autonomous, customer focus, logical and critical thinking and decision making.
• Willingness to work without shifts but occasionally finishing interventions when needed.
• Familiarity with basic IT configuration tasks and quickly adopting new software tools.
• Familiarity with electrical wiring diagrams or basic PLC knowledge is a plus.
• English proficiency is a plus.
• Internal BA5 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preventative maintenance of our machine park and infrastructure.
• Analyze and execute interventions for urgent machine problems.
• Become familiar and master our hardware devices and software applications.
• Assist in the continual improvement of the maintenance efforts and production park.
• Occasionally plan and execute improvement projects.
• Respecting the safety guidelines and house rules.
