DESOTEC is seeking a Technical Drafter – Plant Engineering to support internal engineering teams in developing industrial installations within a 3D environment. You will model, develop and manage technical drawings and 3D models from input by internal stakeholders.

You will translate concepts, P&IDs, and technical specs into manufacturable designs, ensuring coordination with other departments and maintaining data integrity with Vault and CAD standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in electromechanics, mechanical design, or equivalent.
• Experience with 3D CAD in an industrial environment.
• Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Vault Professional.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor and Navisworks is a strong asset.
• Experience with 3D scans / point clouds (ReCap) is a strong asset.
• Good technical understanding of mechanical constructions and plant layout.
• Accurate and structured work approach; solution-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Develop and model plant layouts, piping systems, and steel structures in 3D.
• Create detailed drawings and assembly drawings.
• Integrate 3D scan data (point clouds) into designs.
• Review designs for fit, feasibility, and clashes using Navisworks.
• Collaborate with project engineers and other departments.
• Contribute to design optimization and safety improvements.
• Manage engineering data and CAD standards across projects.
• Create and maintain P&IDs and PFDs.
