Life Without Barriers is seeking Youth Worker – Family Based Care casual staff to support children, young people and families on Central Coast shifts. You will monitor visits, provide transportation and mentoring, and complete post-visit reports. Role requires probity clearances and flexibility across days, including weekends.

Roles offer shifts 3–7 hours, casual employment, and opportunities to contribute to safer, supportive family environments. Training and support are provided.

Competenze

• Certificate IV in Community Services, Youth Work, or other relevant qualifications to the industry.
• Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and Provide CPR (HLTAID009) certifications
• Current Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence.
• Comprehensively insured vehicle with child lock system and back seat capacity.
• Confident in using a variety computer systems and outlook.
• Previous experience working with children and young people.
• Passion & commitment to improving the quality of life, skills and independence of children and young people.

Position: Youth Worker – Family Based Care

Employment Type: Casual

Location: Central Coast

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring family visits between children and their families, including transportation. You may also be involved in providing mentorship support to children and young people.

These positions offer shifts between 3-7 hours duration, scheduled according to client needs, across seven days of the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
