Job summary

Indie Education in Wangaratta is seeking a Welfare Officer to support students’ holistic wellbeing under the guidance of senior staff. You will assist enrolments, support student welfare programs, and liaise with families and external services.

Qualifications

• Requires a certificate qualification in Youth Work, Community Services, or related discipline.
• Experience in youth welfare or education settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated communication and relationship-building with students and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist enrolment processes, follow up enquiries, and prepare enrolment paperwork.
• Maintain compliant student files and documentation.
• Develop and implement structured welfare programs with guidance from senior staff.
• Perform administrative duties related to enrolments and data recording.
• Serve as a contact point for enrolment enquiries and liaise with external services.
