Selectability is seeking a passionate Youth Worker to join our Townsville team. Our youth residential program provides accommodation and intensive support to children and young people with diverse needs, aiming for stable, recovery-oriented outcomes.

You will work across a 24/7 roster, bringing strong communication, record-keeping and policy-driven practice, while supporting culturally diverse communities. Be prepared for driving requirements and a casual hourly arrangement with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have Cert IV qualification recognised under child safety minimum standards (or willing to study)
• Hope and Healing for residential care certification (to be obtained on commencement)
• Current P1 C class Queensland driver’s licence
• Registered, roadworthy, fully comprehensive insured vehicle complying with road rules including child restraints
• Nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates (ability to obtain)
• Child Safety & Personal History Screening check
• Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (ability to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (ability to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' (ability to obtain)

Formation
