Job summary

Access Health and Community invites applications for a Mental Health Clinician (0.8 EFT, Part-time) at headspace Malvern. You will deliver assessments, brief interventions, and evidence-based counselling to young people aged 12–25, in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

You will contribute to care coordination across education, employment and health services, while upholding trauma-informed, youth-centered practice in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology or social work.
• FULL registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA, or accredited Mental Health Social Worker with AASW Medicare provider number.
• Experience in youth mental health or related services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessments and brief interventions for young people.
• Provide short- to medium-term psychological interventions.
• Work with schools and community groups to support youth.
• Assess and manage clinical risk including suicide risk.
• Maintain high standards of clinical records and reporting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and stakeholders.
