Job summary

Jesuit Social Services in Melbourne is seeking an EIOS worker to deliver tailored, one-on-one case management to children and young people at risk of, or in contact with, the youth justice system, with a strong focus on education engagement and positive life outcomes.

The role is co-located at Roxburgh College and the Brunswick office, currently 0.7FTE, expanding to 1FTE from January 2027, with a pro rata salary range of AU$92,279 to AU$99,294.

Qualifications

• Qualified, experienced professional with strong initiative.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
• Knowledge of the Victorian education system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, one-on-one case management to children and young people at risk of or in contact with youth justice.
• Work with students to address complex needs and build collaborative relationships with school staff.
• Provide secondary consultation and expert guidance to schools to respond to challenges faced by vulnerable young people.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support attendance and positive outcomes in education.
