Anglicare NT seeks a compassionate clinician to support young people with emerging or established eating disorders through headspace services. You will provide evidence-based treatment, family-focused support and integrated care alongside Royal Darwin Hospital and GPs, working with a multidisciplinary team to help young people access timely services.

You will deliver assessments, care planning and crisis support while engaging families and ensuring culturally safe care for Aboriginal youth.

Competenze

• Approved tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline.
• Registration or membership with relevant body (e.g. AHPRA or AASW).
• Experience delivering evidence-based treatment for eating disorders or strong mental health and care coordination skills.

Mansioni

• Deliver clinical assessments, evidence-based treatment and care coordination for young people with eating disorders.
• Provide family-based therapeutic interventions and involve families in care planning where appropriate.
• Collaborate with hospitals, GPs and multidisciplinary providers to coordinate medical, psychological, nutritional and functional support.
• Provide secondary consultations to headspace clinicians and other service providers on evidence-based eating disorder treatment.
• Deliver mental health interventions including crisis support, case formulation, psychoeducation and short-term treatment.
• Contribute to supervision, quality improvement, service development and mental health research.
• Help create a supportive, youth-friendly environment that promotes hope and recovery.
