Job summary

Moorabool Shire Council is seeking a Youth Services professional to empower young people aged 12–25 to thrive. You will plan and deliver engaging programs, build strong community partnerships, and support young people to improve health and wellbeing, connect with education and employment, and have a voice in their community.

Join our Youth Services team to make a meaningful difference across Moorabool, including Bacchus Marsh and surrounding towns.

Qualifications

• You’re passionate about supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential.
• With relevant qualifications and experience in youth work, social work, teaching or community services, you bring strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging programs for ages 12–25.
• Build strong community partnerships to support health, wellbeing and education/employment links.
• Help young people have a voice in their community and participate in activities that foster inclusion.

You’ll plan and deliver engaging programs, build strong community partnerships, and support young people to improve their health and wellbeing, connect with education and employment, and have a voice in their community. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people across Moorabool.

About You

You’re passionate about supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential. With relevant qualifications and experience in youth work, social work, teaching or community services, you bring strong communication and relationship-building skills, an understanding of youth development and wellbeing, and the ability to develop and deliver engaging programs. You’re adaptable, innovative and collaborative, with a commitment to inclusion and creating positive outcomes for young people from diverse backgrounds.
