Job summary

Youth Support and Advocacy Service (YSAS) in Frankston is seeking an Access Clinician to join the headspace Frankston multidisciplinary team, delivering youth-friendly, evidence-informed clinical and therapeutic services to young people aged 12 to 25 and their families.

The role focuses on low‑intensity, brief intervention counselling with care coordination, referrals, and ongoing clinical review within scope of practice. National checks and Australia-wide standards apply.

Qualifications

• Evidence-based brief counselling for 12–25yo clients.
• Understanding of social and health needs of young people.
• Experience in risk assessment and safety planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver brief, low-intensity counselling to a caseload of 12‑25yo clients.
• Provide access and care coordination with families and supports.
• Refer, review clinically, and support transition and closure.
