The workshop role

Reporting to the workshop supervisor and working closely with experienced tradespeople on the floor, your role will involve:

  • Parts in and out of the workshop/ store
  • Organising parts for maintenance projects in the workshop
  • Cleaning and preparing machines to head back out to mine sites
  • Paperwork for machines coming into the workshop and heading out
  • VIN number parts look up and coordination or parts with the tradespeople on the floor
  • General yard housekeeping from sweeping and organising the workshop and tools

Your value

You will ideally come from a background in warehousing or heavy industry, however as this role is entry level your biggest attributes will be your attitude towards work, work ethic and physical fitness working in a role involving manual handling. Your other skills and experience will involve:

  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • A keen eagerness to learn and forward your skills in heavy industry
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously
  • An excellent attitude towards work
  • Safety first mentality
