Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services – Minto NSW is seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Yardperson to join a busy automotive operation. This role will involve parking and manoeuvring vehicles, moving cars around the yard, and preparing vehicles to required standards.

You will use CPOD handheld devices, walk up to 25,000 steps per shift, and work Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:00pm. A valid driver’s licence (manual and automatic), safety awareness, good communication, and Australian working rights are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's licence (manual and automatic).
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good level of physical fitness and ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Previous yard, vehicle movement, or automotive experience preferred.
• Reliable transport to and from work.
• Ability to pass a police check.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Parking and manoeuvring vehicles in tight spaces.
• Driving and relocating vehicles throughout the yard.
• Washing and preparing vehicles to required standards.
• Operating CPOD handheld devices to complete daily tasks.
• Safely navigating narrow spaces between parked vehicles.
• Ensuring vehicles are presented cleanly and parked correctly.
• Working in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Walking up to 25,000 steps per shift.
