Job summary

Programmed are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Yardperson to join a busy automotive operation based in Minto. This role suits someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying physically active and taking pride in high safety and presentation standards.

You will manoeuvre and move vehicles in tight spaces, wash and prepare cars, operate CPOD handheld devices, and maintain a fast-paced, detail-oriented yard.

Qualifications

• Must have safety-conscious approach and be able to work outdoors.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Fit to stand and walk for extended periods and operate in a busy yard environment.

Responsibilities

• Parking and manoeuvring vehicles in tight spaces.
• Driving and relocating vehicles throughout the yard.
• Washing and preparing vehicles to required standards.
• Operating CPOD handheld devices to complete daily tasks.
• Safely navigating narrow spaces between parked vehicles.
• Ensuring vehicles are presented cleanly and parked correctly.
• Working in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Walking up to 25,000 steps per shift.
