Job summary

Blu Australia is seeking a Yard Hand / Forklift Driver to join the Mt Druitt site. This casual ongoing role suits someone with scaffolding or construction material experience, offering day shifts and a view to permanency for the right candidate.

You will lift and stack steel components, dispatch and store stock, assist with inventory, and operate the forklift to load/unload trucks. A current LF Ticket and a valid drivers licence are required, with reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Experience as Yard Hand or Warehousing role.
• Current LF Ticket.
• Experience with construction materials is a plus.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks.

With a strong focus on safety, quality, and innovation, they provide scaffolding products, engineering, seals and rental solutions to contractors and major projects across Australia. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking experienced Yard Hands / Forklift Drivers to join the team at their Mt Druitt site.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Yard Hand with scaffold or construction material experience to secure an ongoing position with an industry leader.

• Monday to Friday roster
• 6:30am to 2:30pm
• $39 per hour on offer
• Casual ongoing position
• View to a permanent position for the right candidate

About the Duties:

• Lifting and stacking steel and scaffolding components
• Dispatching and storing stock
• Assisting with Inventory and stock control
• Forklift operation - Loading/unloading trucks and moving stock

About You:

• Previous experience working in a Yard Hand or Warehousing position
• Current LF Ticket and precious experience
• Experience working with construction materials desired
• Ability to complete manual handling tasks
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Current Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport
