Akura is an industrial design and construction specialist, delivering high‑quality property solutions for owner‑occupiers, developers and investors. With more than 50 years of experience, we’ve built a reputation on quality, speed of delivery and buildings that are made to last.
We specialise in industrial units, warehouses and self‑storage facilities, with in‑house manufacturing of structural steel and precast concrete panels at the core of our offering. We support our clients across the full project lifecycle – from architectural and structural design through to on‑site construction and delivery. We also work directly with builders to supply engineered steel and precast packages.
Join a business with a strong pipeline, long‑term vision and the opportunity to contribute to projects that shape Australia’s industrial landscape while building a career you can be proud of.
As a Yard Hand at Akura, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of yard activities, including coordinating logistics, loading trucks, and maintaining a safe, organised and productive work environment. You will work closely with internal teams, production personnel and drivers to support daily operations and uphold Akura’s standards and values.
This is a hands‑on, hybrid all‑rounder role that will also involve assisting within the precast factory as required to support production demands and maintain operational efficiency (we can teach you this!).
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable team player with great initiative, a positive attitude and a strong “get it done” mindset. Someone who takes pride in their work, is willing to lend a hand wherever needed and is proud to be part of the Akura team. You can demonstrate:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Akura team.
Alignment with our core values is key so if you’ve got the right skills and you’re reliable, a team player with a can-do attitude, driven to deliver quality outputs and willing to innovate/challenge the status quo, we’d love to hear from you.
