Job summary

Gough Plastics in Stuart, Queensland, is expanding its factory and seeks a yard person and truck driver to support the store team and drivers. The role starts as casual and moves to permanent, with work Tue–Sat, driving an MR truck for customer deliveries and possible overnight stays.

Key requirements include a Medium Rigid licence, forklift ticket, and several years on an operational level with loading/unloading, hand tools, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Medium Rigid (MR) Licence required.
• Forklift ticket and several years’ experience at an operational level.
• Experience in loading/unloading trucks and tie down procedures.
• Experience in using hand tools.
• Total hours 30–38 per week, Tue to Sat, overtime beyond 38 hours.
• Must be customer focused.
• Pass Drug & Alcohol test prior to commencement and random testing.
• Able to follow direction.
• Good attention to detail.
• Physically fit and healthy.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Follow Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Work well in team environments to achieve objectives.
