Job summary

AUSCOIL is seeking a Yard Allrounder to join the team from the Charlton facility in Toowoomba on a 10/4 roster. The role focuses on supporting Cementing and Chemical Operations while assisting the yard team with materials handling and lab tasks.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, locally based, and ready to take responsibility with a positive, can-do attitude. Full Australian working rights are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Toowoomba local is preferred.
• A ‘can do’ positive attitude and willingness to take responsibility.
• Cementing or Batch Plant background is advantageous.
• Must have full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare field materials and coordinate/dispatch for the field team.
• Operate and maintain bulk plant equipment for cement blending/delivery.
• Oversee inventory of cementing and chemical consumables.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory, receipts and dispatch records.
• Keep the yard clean, perform machine cleaning and manage waste.
• Assist with blending activities and other lab tasks.
• Provide team support to tradespeople as needed.
• Handle pickups and deliveries of items and materials.

What are we looking for?

AUSCOIL is looking for aYard Allrounder to join our team. Reporting directly to the Field Service Manager and working from the Charlton facility, this full-time role operates on a 10/4 Roster and focuses primarily on supporting Cementing and Chemical Operations while providing essential assistance to the yard team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of field materials: Support the team for time sensitive coordination and dispatch of materials for field.
• Bulk Plant Operation: Operate and maintain bulk plant equipment to ensure efficient cement blending and delivery.
• Inventory Support: Oversee stock-taking, tracking, and forecasting of cementing and chemical consumables.
• Goods Handling: Manage the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for inventory, receipts, and dispatches.
• General Yard Duties: Ensure cleanliness, perform machine cleaning, and manage waste effectively.
• Laboratory Support: Assist with blending activities and other laboratory tasks.

Assist with as required:

• Team Assistance: Provide support to tradespeople and other team members as needed.
• Material Transport: Handle pick-ups and drop-offs of items and materials.
