Job summary

Tutt Bryant is seeking a skilled workshop technician in Queensland to prepare New Equipment and perform repairs and maintenance on construction equipment and components.

You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain customer gear, compile accurate reports, and work with a high-performing team dedicated to safety and quality. This role offers a competitive hourly rate, PPE provided, and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified with practical experience.
• Experience on construction machinery preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain customer equipment and components (hydraulics, transmissions, engines).
• Compile and complete accurate reporting.
• Work as a team to manage time and maximise efficiency.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Collaborate with a high performing team on the gear.

Job description

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for preparation of New Equipment as well as repairs and maintenance of all types of construction equipment and components.

Duties

• Troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of customer equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines
• Compiling and completing accurate reporting
• Working as a team to manage your time and maximise efficiency
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Work alongside a high performing team, who are passionate about the gear they work on

Skills & experience

• Fully qualified with practical experience
• Previous experience working on construction machinery (great to have)
• A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
• A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical.
