Job summary

Centurion Water seeks a skilled Workshop Supervisor (Electrical) to oversee manufacturing operations in Woodridge, Queensland. This permanent, full-time role leads electrical and mechanical assembly activities within the workshop and coordinates installation teams during site-based works.

The successful candidate will hold an Electrical Cert or equivalent, demonstrate strong leadership, and have experience with PLC-based control systems and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical Cert or equivalent qualification relevant.
• Cert IV in leadership and management or equivalent supervisory training (desirable).
• Experience with PLC-based control systems and instrumentation (desirable).
• High Risk Work Licence (desirable).
• Previous experience within the water treatment industry is highly regarded (desirable).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyse problems and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the electrical workshop, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Manage and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity.
• Implement and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and work practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare reports on workshop performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
