Volvo Trucks Australia is looking for a capable Workshop Team Leader to head the night shift in our Brisbane workshop. You will stay hands-on, leading technicians and coordinating repairs, diagnostics, and servicing for heavy vehicles to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic with hands-on workshop experience.
• Strong diagnostics, fault finding and repair skills across heavy vehicles.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop environment.
• HR Licence or higher is required to operate in this role.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with a safety-first approach.
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to safety, quality and customer service in all tasks.

What You Will Do

As the Workshop Team Leader, you'll lead the night shift workshop operation while remaining actively involved on the tools. You'll work closely with technicians, customer representatives and Volvo support teams to ensure maintenance and repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

You may be an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician, Leading Hand or Workshop Supervisor looking for your next challenge. You enjoy leading from the front, solving problems, developing others and taking ownership of outcomes. You're equally comfortable turning a spanner, coordinating workflows and engaging with customers.

Essential
