Sulzer Australia Pty Ltd. is seeking an Operations / Manufacturing / Production Manager to lead day-to-day workshop activities, drive safety, quality and efficiency, and supervise a skilled team.

You will collaborate with the Service Centre Manager to plan capacity, manage costs, and ensure on-time delivery while upholding Sulzer standards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory experience in an engineering or workshop setting, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 20%.

Formación

• 5+ years’ supervisory experience in an engineering or workshop environment.
• Experience working with electrical and mechanical products.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and promote a strong safety culture in the workshop.
• Manage day-to-day workshop operations delivering safe, efficient work.
• Hold supervisors and staff accountable for performance and quality.
• Collaborate with the Service Centre Manager to meet targets.
• Plan capacity, labour utilization and workflow to meet delivery commitments.
• Lead production planning and regular progress meetings.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Oversee job estimating, costing, and project close-out to support profitability.
