  • Maintain workflow, quality control, and safety standards
  • Be the go-to person for troubleshooting and job planning on the floor

We’re after someone who thrives in a practical, active environment, enjoys leading from the front, has strong organisational and communication skills, the ability to multitask, problem solve, think on your feet and prioritise and delegate tasks.

We are in a newly-built, huge workshop and large equipment and consumables are provided, but it is expected for the candidate to have sufficient tools of their own as well.

Key Tasks

  • Manage, supervise and co-ordinate a team of 10 technicians, ensuring jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard.
  • Maintain workshop efficiency and foster a productive work environment.
  • Support our Business Owners and Service Advisors in liaison with customers.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, and ensure proper use of equipment.
  • Liaise with management, other departments, and customers regarding work progress, issues, and solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team and report on progress to Business Owners and Service Advisors.

Skills and experience:

  • Caravan experience is essential
  • Workshop Foreman, Leading Hand or Senior Caravan Technician experience is essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff and Business Owners.
  • High attention to detail.
  • The ability to lead and work in a team environment.
  • Outstanding time management and organisational skills
