We are looking for an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our Mackay workshop team, working on heavy equipment repairs, rebuilds, overhauls and component refurbishment.
What you’ll bring
Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Experience with heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
Experience in machine overhauls, rebuilds and component refurbishment
Experience working on equipment such as WA900 Loaders, CAT 998 Loaders, Hitachi Excavators and D10/D11 Dozers will be highly regarded
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
A commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
