Job summary

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking qualified Light Vehicle, Truck, and Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to advance into heavy mining equipment and OEM-based careers. You will strip, inspect, repair and rebuild major mining components while adhering to safety and OEM specs, and maintain thorough documentation.

The role offers 5/2 or 4/4/4/2 rosters, biannual bonuses, permanent FT employment, OEM training, and wellbeing benefits within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification in Light Vehicle, Truck or Heavy Vehicle or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Mining/heavy equipment experience is highly regarded but not essential.
