Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and overhauls on heavy diesel equipment within our workshop.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
• Recondition engines, components and equipment to a high standard.
• Complete service reports, job cards and parts requests accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
• Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet customer and project deadlines.

$47 – $55/hr Full Time + Penalties + Super + Regular Overtime

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Relevant Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Trade Qualification
• Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing heavy diesel, earthmoving or plant equipment
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience with hydraulic, engine and drivetrain repairs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good computer skills and experience completing service documentation
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods

This is a residential role based in Gladstone and is not suited to FIFO or DIDO arrangements.
