Job summary

Macmahon is seeking personnel to support the workshop team at Perth Airport, WA, maintaining heavy mining equipment alongside qualified Boilermakers. The role covers preparing work areas, handling tools, and safety and clean-up tasks in a busy workshop environment.

Requirements include a Truck licence MR/HR (Mandatory), LF (Essential), and DG (Advantageous). You’ll benefit from a competitive package, with bonus potential and family-friendly rosters.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team of qualified Boilermakers
• Parts runs
• General day to day housekeeping
• Weekly/monthly inspections
• Identify and perform minor repairs on workshop equipment and schedule major work
• Correct workshop hazards
• Operate the forklift
• Support equipment availability and safe, reliable performance
• Speak up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work
• Will be required to drive trucks as part of the role
