Rombola Family Farms, based in Nericon, NSW, is seeking a Workshop Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our workshop. This full-time role focuses on administration, parts stock, and labour coordination to keep our farm machinery running smoothly.

You will handle parts ordering, supplier relations, work orders for contract labour, and stock receival and dispatch. A current driver’s licence and prior admin experience are preferred; mechanical knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative role, preferably within agricultural or mechanical workshop environments.
• Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for this position.
• Knowledge of the MEX maintenance platform is a big plus.
• A current driver’s licence is essential.

• Manage all PO for workshop.
• Ordering of parts to keep workshop running.
• Manage relationships with local dealers for best pricing.
• Manage work orders for all contract labour for workshop.
• Receival of stock and dispatch of parts.

About the role:

This full-time role is vital in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our workshop through effective administration and coordination of parts, stock, and labour.

Key accountabilities include:

• Daily town run to collect parts.
• Manage all po for workshop.
• Ordering of parts to keep workshop running.
• Manage relationships with our local dealers for best pricing.
• Manage work orders for all contract labour for workshop.
• Receival of stock dispatch of parts etc.

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an agricultural or mechanical workshop environment.
• Mechanical knowledge is an advantage to this position or worked in agriculture machinery departments.
• Having knowledge with MEX maintenance platform is a huge advantage
• A current driver’s licence
