Job summary

Cabin Services Australia is Australia’s leading provider in cabin cleaning and ancillary services in the aviation industry. We service over 50 international and domestic airlines with more than 500 flights per day.

We are seeking a Workforce Planning Manager responsible for forecasting staffing requirements and aligning labour with enterprise agreements, plus implementing workforce planning systems to support growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in workforce management, preferably within Aviation.
• Experience using WFM platforms (Plano WFM and Humanforce will be a plus).
• Strong knowledge in systems and planning tools will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong computer literacy with Excel experience.
• Interpersonal, communication and planning and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, Awards and Agreements.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day maintenance of rosters with changes due to aircraft or operational changes.
• Audit of source time and attendance data to ensure accurate data and correct application of policies and procedures.
• Reporting to management of key metrics to identify inefficiencies and drive cost optimisations.
• Time and attendance user administration and implementation of award rules.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll & local airports to ensure workforce needs are met.
• Liaise directly with the business Director on operational matters.

An exciting opportunity now exists for aWorkforce Planning Managerto join our team. The role is ultimately responsible for overseeing the workforce needs and forecast current and future staffing requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding in building airline schedules and allocating labor resources to demand in-line with enterprise agreements.

In addition, the role will be a key contributor to the successful implementation and optimisation of workforce planning systems, ensuring they support future growth, operational efficiency, and strategic business objectives.

Some of your key duties and responsibilities

• Day to day maintenance of rosters with changes required due to ongoing or one-off aircraft or operational changes.
• Audit of source time and attendance data to ensure accurate data is recorded and the correct application of policies and procedures by station management.
• Reporting to management of desired key metrics to assist in running the business efficiently at optimal cost and identifying any potential areas where inefficiencies exist.
• Reporting of key operational reports vital to the management of the business
  Responsible for time and attendance user administration and implementation of award rules.
• Working closely with HR, Payroll & local airports to ensure continued success of workforce needs.
• Liaise directly with the business Director on matters identified as concerning operations.

To be successful in the role
