ASC is seeking a strategic Workforce Development Planner to lead the development, governance and delivery of the Workforce Development Plan for the SSN‑AUKUS Build Program.
You will coordinate inputs from diverse stakeholders, analyze workforce data and forecast needs, informing priorities and risk management while ensuring compliance and high‑quality outputs.
ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. Reporting to the Workforce Planning Lead and working within the SSN-AUKUS Build Workforce Integrated Product Team, you will be responsible for leading the development, maintenance and delivery of the Workforce Development Plan (WDP), a key contractual workforce planning deliverable for the SSN-AUKUS Build Program.
You will coordinate contributions from a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, integrate workforce intelligence and planning insights, and ensure workforce strategies are aligned with program objectives and contractual requirements.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence workforce capability development at both program and organisational levels while supporting one of Australia's most strategically important defence initiatives.
This is a full-time opportunity based at our Osborne site in SA.
You are a strategic thinker with strong project coordination capabilities and a proven ability to bring together complex information from multiple stakeholders into clear, actionable workforce planning outcomes.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
