Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Workday Financials Functional Consultant in Melbourne to help clients transform finance operations and implement cloud-based Workday Financial Management solutions with a focus on Projects and Expenses.

You will work with implementation teams and clients to translate requirements into scalable Workday configurations, supporting testing, deployment and change management across projects and expenses.

Qualifications

• Experience in Workday Financial Management implementations.
• 2–5 years of Workday/cloud ERP experience.
• Experience with Projects and/or Expenses modules.
• Certified Workday implementation partner is highly regarded.
• Hands-on requirements gathering, designing, configuring and testing.
• Understanding of project accounting concepts.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery and design sessions with stakeholders for finance, project accounting, and expenses.
• Configure Workday Projects and Expenses in line with requirements.
• Design end-to-end solutions including processes, security, reports and integrations.
• Lead prototypes and incorporate client feedback.
• Apply Workday delivery methodology and quality controls.
• Provide status updates to Project Manager and functional leadership.
• Collaborate with Workday Financials, Integration, Data, Reporting, Security and Change Management teams.
• Share Accenture and Workday leading practices and participate in Workday certification and updates.
