Job summary

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is not essential but would be highly regarded.
• You should have strong payroll skills and an eye for detail.
• Experience using payroll systems, ideally CHRIS21 and Time Target.
• Experience processing workers compensation payments and understanding payment entitlements.
• Strong Excel and data skills, including formulas, pivot tables and charts.
• Clear communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy, service and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and top-up payments and calculate workers compensation entitlements.
• Update payroll and leave records using CHRIS21 and Time Target.
• Help injured employees understand their payment and leave entitlements.
• Check payment details, update records and reconcile weekly reimbursements with the insurer.
• Protect sensitive information and maintain accurate records, databases and reports.
