Cleanaway Bathurst is offering a Women’s Driver Academy that provides hands-on training to start a long-term career in transport and waste management. No prior truck driving experience is required, with support from experienced operators at our Bathurst branch.

The program emphasizes structured driver training, safety, and mentoring, leading to permanent full-time employment in a fast-paced operations environment and opportunities across Cleanaway's national network.

Qualifications

• Hold a current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
• Have a minimum of 8 demerit points available.
• Be able to obtain a Heavy Rigid Licence.
• Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
• Be willing to complete drug and alcohol testing.
• Be comfortable with early morning starts.
• Be physically capable of manual handling activities.
• Be committed to completing the Driver Academy program.

Responsibilities

• Learn to safely operate a rear lift collection vehicle.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Collect waste and recycling from commercial and industrial customers.
• Work safely around customer sites, loading zones and traffic environments.
• Perform manual handling activities throughout your shift.
• Follow safe work procedures and operational requirements.
• Build confidence through structured driver training and mentoring.
• Deliver professional customer service while representing Cleanaway.
