Job summary

Samuel Smith & Son, a respected, family-owned wine merchant, is seeking a Sales and Office Coordinator based in Melbourne. You will provide administrative support to local sales and customer marketing teams and assist with coordinating activations and events.

Reporting to the Region Manager, you will help ensure smooth branch operations, manage stock and promotional assets, and support branch meetings. The role requires strong communication, organization, and advanced Microsoft Office skills.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive office administration support, including onboarding and expenses reimbursements.
• Coordinate branch facilities management, including maintenance, cleaning, security, and landlord reporting.
• Support sales and marketing teams with activations, events, and customer communications to ensure successful execution.
• Assist in planning and managing branch events, principal visits, and customer winery itineraries.
• Oversee point‑of‑sale materials, customer glassware, and other promotional assets within the branch.
• Manage product allocations, stock ordering for functions and sponsorships, and sample administration.
• Timely identification of stock shortages using CRM platform and reporting of slow moving lines.
• Redistribution / reallocation of stock to meet desired supply outcomes.
• Organise and support branch sales meetings and related administrative tasks.
• Perform general administration duties as required to maintain smooth branch operations.
