Job summary

A leading government agency in Australia seeks a Wintel Identity Architect to develop and maintain Identity Management services. The ideal candidate will engage with stakeholders and provide architecture guidance while demonstrating strong communication and negotiation skills. Experience in Defence and knowledge of Identity Management systems are essential. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with internal and external project stakeholders on critical ICT systems.

Job description

This role will work within the SEA2273 Sub-Program of the Warfighting Networks and Applications Support Organisation (WSO), ICT Delivery Division, Chief Information Officer Group, Department of Defence.

The Wintel Identity Architect will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:

  • Develop, build, implement and proactively maintain Identity Management (IdM) services within Warfighting Networks.
  • Provide architecture guidance and advice for IdM services and the interfacing to any external systems.

Assist with build and defect remediation of IdM services.

  • Develop Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs) and build guides.
  • Provide Identity Management Solution demonstrations and relevant training for internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Provide support to day-to-day support activities including escalations that arise from the Level 3 support team.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and SMEs to support the continuation and enhancement of Minerva ICT systems and its sustainment.
  • Demonstrated experience in Defence as an Identity Architect.

Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Identity Management systems.

  • Ability to take customer requirements, industry standards and frameworks and apply in a practical application to future proposed Identity Management designs and systems.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to present and engage with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of Industry standard frameworks (e.g. TOGAF).
  • Ability to apply frameworks to architecture and solution design, including test and evaluation procedures.

Knowledge of the SEA2273 Minerva Systems.
