Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a hands-on trade-qualified Fitter or A Grade Electrician to join the Mt Gellibrand Windfarm near Colac. You’ll be maintaining wind turbines and site infrastructure across 44 turbines delivering up to 132 MW of clean energy, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

You’ll work with a tight-knit crew on routine and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, on a 1:3 callout roster; the role requires a valid Mechanical trade qualification

Qualifications

• Hold a Mechanical trade qualification and/or A Grade Electrical Licence.
• Experience in wind, manufacturing, power, mining, or oil & gas sectors.
• Strong safety focus and collaborative teamwork.
• Current driver’s license and ability to maintain relevant qualifications (First Aid Level 2, Working at Heights, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance - routine and emergency maintenance on wind turbines, HV systems, and site infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting & repairs - fault finding and fixing to reduce downtime.
• Safety first - follow procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
• Teamwork - collaborate with crew and support continuous improvement.
