Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a hands-on Turbine Technician to maintain 44 wind turbines near Colac, total 132 MW. You’ll perform routine and emergency maintenance across turbines, HV systems, and site infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

The role requires a trade qualification and a valid A Grade Electrical Licence, plus strong teamwork and safety focus. You’ll join a 1:3 callout roster with day shifts, be part of a safety-driven culture, and work at Mt Gellibrand Windfarm, near

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Mechanical trade qualification and/or A Grade Electrical Licence.
• Experience in wind, manufacturing, power, mining or related sectors.
• Maintain First Aid Level 2, Working at Heights and SOCI PAW readiness.
• Ability to work safely in a team and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on wind turbines and site infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot faults to minimise downtime and coordinate repairs.
• Adhere to safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with crew to ensure efficient, quality work.
