Job summary

Vestas Wind are looking for an enthusiastic electrician to join our team at Kennedy Energy Park in Hughenden, Australia. You will maintain and service wind turbines and solar panels, with training, tools and clothing provided, in a small site team. Relocation may be required to be within reach of the site.

A dynamic work environment with safety as a priority and a strong growth path in renewable energy. The role requires an Australian Electrical License and offers a broad scope across HV/LV

Qualifications

• Australian Electrical License is required.
• GWO training and safety-related qualifications are beneficial.
• HV/LV experience and knowledge of electrical systems are important.

Responsibilities

• Undertake scheduled service and reactive maintenance as required.
• Respond and attend site outside normal working hours to undertake reactive maintenance on a rostered basis.
• Maintain all company vehicles and keep plant equipment in good clean condition.
• Undertake operations and maintenance within the limits of training and authorisation including operation of HV and LV.
• Ensure safety of personnel and compliance with environmental and safety requirements.
