Job summary

Searo, a division within the Symal Group, is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to lead the pricing and tender development for utility-scale renewables, including Wind and BESS projects. You will own electrical take-offs and cost development, working closely with engineering, commercial and delivery teams to convert opportunities into winning bids.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will source subcontractor and vendor pricing, build auditable cost plans, and assemble compliant

Qualifications

End-to-end ownership of electrical estimating for Wind and BESS renewables.
Take-offs for MV/HV reticulation, switchrooms, substations and BESS enclosures.
Pricing subcontractors, OEMs and suppliers with auditable cost plans.

Responsibilities

Electrical Take-Offs: prepare detailed quantity take-offs from tender drawings and specs.
Subcontractor & Vendor Pricing: source and assess pricing with clear scope and terms.
Cost Plan Development: build robust, auditable cost plans reflecting risk.
Tender Development & Submission: assemble compliant tender responses with teams.
Risk & Value Identification: highlight risks and value engineering opportunities.
Benchmarking & Handover: maintain pricing benchmarks and handover to delivery.
