Szabo & Associates Solicitors in Surry Hills, NSW, seeks an Associate Solicitor with 3-5+ years PAE to join our professional, supportive firm.

Current admission to practice in any Australian state is required; Australian citizenship or permanent residency with work authorisation is expected. Experience in contested Wills and Estates litigation is essential, with broader exposure to estate planning and property/family law advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current admission to practice as a solicitor in any Australian state.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residence with work authorisation.
• 3-5+ years PAE in wills, estates administration and contested litigation.

Responsabilités

• Prepare Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and GuardianAppointments.
• Administer Estates including obtaining Probate Grants and NCAT applications.
• Litigate contested Wills and Estates matters including Family Provision claims.
• Advise on Estate Planning and trust concepts.
• Develop and maintain precedents and use MS Office and LEAP.

Full Time Role - Associate

We have an exciting Associate Solicitor opportunity for you to join our professional, supportive, and friendly firm.

Current admission to practice as a solicitor in any Australian state is required.

Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents with valid work authorisation.

We are looking for someone with 3-5+ years PAE experience in the following areas:

• preparation of Wills (complex and straight forward), Enduring Powers of Attorney, Appointments of Enduring Guardian
• administration of Estates, including obtaining Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration, NCAT applications
• conducting Contested Wills and Estates Litigation including Family Provision Claims, Rectification of Wills and Probate Litigation generally
• A minimum of 3-5+ years active practice experience in contested wills and estates litigation is essential.
• advising on Estate Planning
• a working knowledge of and an understanding of complex testamentary trusts would be an advantage
• developing and consolidating an up to date set of precedents
• ability to use Microsoft products confidently
• working knowledge of LEAP software an advantage
• property law experience and / or family law also an advantage
