Job summary

Varga Lawyers Pty Ltd is a boutique South Australian firm specialising in wills and estates, with offices in Adelaide and Modbury. A lawyer is sought to join the Modbury CBD team, with mentoring and responsibility aligned to experience.

In this role you will take instructions, draft wills and powers of attorney, and assist with probate and estate administration. Experience in wills and estates is required, with the opportunity to develop expertise alongside seasoned practitioners.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and sound drafting skills.
• Clear communication and an empathetic, professional approach to clients.
• The ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and follow matters through.

Responsibilities

• Taking instructions and advising clients on estate planning.
• Preparing wills, enduring powers of attorney and advance care directives.
• Preparing applications for probate and letters of administration.
• Advising and assisting executors with deceased estate administration.
• Assisting senior practitioners with complex succession matters and estate disputes.
• You will build client relationships and take increasing responsibility for matters as your skills and confidence develop.
